One of the children needs a new passport.
Now, you see, the German passport is biometric and you require
special photographs.
There is only ONE (according to my knowledge) photographer in Limassol who can 'do' those photos. I called him yesterday to hear whether he is open onSaturday, since we want to go to the embassy in Nicosia on Monday:
Saturday, no, I will not be here, I have a wedding.
Today (Thursday then)? - No, today, I am completely booked, sorry.
Tomorrow then for sure? - No, it's the same thing, I have no free appointments. I am really sorry. This (taking photos for the German passport) is something I can't do just inbetween, it needs time!
I am very happy for him being so busy, or maybe he doesn't like the hassle?
With the help of a friend (not the one that has arranged her photos during holidays in Germany, to make sure they are correct - thank you very much) I have now contacted THE photoshop close to the embassy who is able to fulfill all the requirements. They even start working at 7.30 a.m.
Time for research on the internet for photographers, embassy, Anglo Info, Google, directions, - 4 hours
Time for driving to Nicosia, photos, application, etc. - 4 hours
