Mums in Cyprus

We now have officially given up on maybe, potentially, possibly welcoming back our fluffy Tom ever again. It's has been over three weeks since he's gone AWOL and unless some miracle happens, the Tom & Jerry show is now over.

No body = no crime (whether run over by a car or poisoned), and so we've decided we are happy with the thought that he's living somewhere else with the lady cat love of his life.

Even Jerry is showing signs of having accepted Tom's departure, she hardly ever makes whining calls at the door for her brother anymore. Come to think of it, she seems to actually quite enjoy the double attention that she's been getting! We are all concerned she might feel lonely alone in the house now, so as soon as we come home we cuddle, stroke and squeeze her until she wriggles herself free. In the evenings she now has the choice of laps, whereas before it was always Tom who dominated the scene.

Still, The Tomster was (is) the coolest cat ever and will always be fondly remembered.

So Tom, if you are reading this, SHE'D BETTER BE WORTH IT!!!
