Hello other mamas!

Hi All!
I am very excited to have found this web page today, as its something I would have loved to have done myself but don't have the technical knowledge!!!
My family and I moved to Cyprus in June of last year, with our then 10 month old son. We had moved from California, where we had lived from 3 years. My husband was made redundant from his job in California exactley a year ago, this month and thats how we came to be in Cyprus.
I came from an abundance of child playgroups and support from many sources in California, to not even seeing many babies and toddlers in the particular area of Cyprus we live in.
So I have found the adjustment quite hard and mum support, virtually non exisitent.
I have had to adjust in so many ways to ensure my son receives a thriving child hood, without the influence of so many other children being around.
So , like so many other things these days , I am increasingly spending more time on line to find the sources of support I would like and need!!!!
Thank you to who ever made this site and i really hope to be an active, helpful member/ blogger in the future!!!
Look forward to meeting other mums (and dads!) in the future!
