The water cat

By Cyprus Mum

Who said cats don't like water? Our Jerry has recently developed a bizarre obsession for water in all its forms even though she has been in our family for a little over a year now and never showed any signs of that before.

When we flush a toilet she appears out of nowhere, props her paws

Tom? Toooom!

We now have officially given up on maybe, potentially, possibly welcoming back our fluffy Tom ever again. It's has been over three weeks since he's gone AWOL and unless some miracle happens, the Tom

Tom's AWOL

By Cyprus Mum
It's been five days and we are slowly starting to come to terms with Tommy's disappearance. Tom is (was) Jerry's brother, both of them being our beloved adopted kittens-turned-giants.

Tom & Jerry and the Christmas Tree

By Cyprus Mum

Tonight was the night. We decorated our tree...admittedly a tiny bit early since today was only December 1, but with two children under five our aim is to have the Christmas decorations up for as long as possible. The trees have

Lady Bug Spring Crafts

By Vanja
Spring is officially here.  Although strangely enough it doesn't feel that way here in Cyprus.  Rain and thunder storms are definitely not what we expect this time of year.

Educational Preschooler Projects - Language

By Vanja
Now that my almost 3 year old will be classified as a preschooler, we made a very simple craft with much greater educational benefits...

I'm thinking more and more about Emma's trilingualism... and while she speaks all three languages fluently, I'm starting to think about

Spel ck – got it?

By Cyprus Mum

Have you ever noticed how we don't write any more? I mean really write?

It's not that we communicate less as a society, it's more that writing has become typing in recent years. SMS, e-mails, online chats...these means of communication don't require a pen or paper, just arthritis-free
